Bruce is the founding broker of Tobey Seaport Properties. He has been a long-time leader in the City of Gloucester, holding the distinction of having been the longest-serving Mayor in the City’s history. Moreover, he previously served as its City Solicitor and as a city councilor and school committee member.
Since leaving the Mayor’s Office in 2002, Bruce has built a solid career in the legal and marketing professions. He is excited to bring his knowledge of real estate and his experience as a negotiator to the Tobey team.
A 1975 graduate of Wesleyan University, Bruce earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1978, where he was a member of Law Review, and his MBA from Suffolk University in 2005. He also served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard Judge Advocate General Corps.
Bruce and his wife, Pat, a registered nurse at Gloucester’s Addison Gilbert Hospital, are the proud parents of four daughters and are equally proud of their two granddaughters.

Emily Tobey-DiMercurio is a founding sales-agent of Tobey Seaport Properties. Born and raised in Gloucester, she attended Gloucester Public Schools before earning in 2007 her B.A. degree from Wagner College in New York City. Before completing her undergraduate career, however, Emily made her entry into real estate, gaining her Massachusetts Real Estate License in 2006. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Salem State University in 2012.
Her work in real estate has been accompanied by other professional endeavors, including work in a North Shore law office supporting a busy real estate practice and working with students as an educator in Gloucester’s schools. Throughout her career Emily has always enjoyed one-on-one working relationships, whether with clients, tenants and children. Her attention to detail, communication and problem solving skills, and superior customer service skills set her apart, because helping people is something Emily truly loves to do.
In her spare time you will find Emily and her husband Sal with their beautiful daughters, Lilliana and Stella. You can typically find the foursome exploring Main Street, enjoying their East Gloucester neighborhood, or splashing in the surf at one of Gloucester’s many beaches.

Francesco (Frank) DiMercurio, Jr. is a founding sales-agent of Tobey Seaport Properties. A native of Gloucester and the product of Gloucester’s school system, Frank’s attention to detail and his broad knowledge of Gloucester’s real estate marketplace is unsurpassed.
His extensive and successful career in all aspects of the restaurant management industry focused Frank’s considerable energy and enthusiasm into the development of his finely-honed customer service, communication and managerial skills. He has carried those skills over to his real estate practice, where they have been supplemented by his first-hand experience with property and project management as the owner and manager of successful multi-family properties.
Frank takes pride in his ability to build and maintain both personal and professional relationships. His love of photography and technology drives him to stay current with the latest trends and software in the real estate industry and beyond. Frank relaxes by spending his free time with his expanding circle of family and friends.

Melanie Tobey, a founding sales-agent of Tobey Seaport Properties, received her Bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College in 2012, building on the solid background of her Gloucester upbringing and her education in its public schools.
Throughout her college years, Melanie always worked in jobs where customer service was key. Most recently, she has successfully run her own personal training business where her clients have always been her main focus. One of Melanie’s greatest joys in life is getting to know people, learning from them, and doing her part to help them find happiness. She also prides herself on her attention to detail and constant commitment to making sure that everything is done in a timely manner and that deadlines are met.
Melanie spends her free time with family and her three dogs. On weekends you will find her and the dogs enjoying one of Gloucester’s many hiking trails.

Jennifer Parisi Maniaci is a sales agent for Tobey Seaport properties. Born and raised in Gloucester, Jennifer graduated from Gloucester High and earned a BA from Salem State University in Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Salem State University. As a native and life-long resident of Gloucester, Jennifer has an in-depth knowledge of Cape Ann and all it has to offer.
Jennifer has over six years of professional business experience in the personal lines insurance industry. Beginning her career as a sales representative, she quickly demonstrated the strong skills in building lasting client relationships and work collaboratively across business lines that enabled her to advance to a management position. She carries that experience and those same skills to her role as a real estate professional. Jennifer works diligently for each of her clients, providing unsurpassed service, individualized attention, and strong listening and communication skills.
